Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Maskline application and website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Maskline, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Maskline.

2. Description of Service

Maskline provides an offline AI assistant that runs directly on your device. Maskline does not require an internet connection for AI functionality.

3. Subscription Services

Maskline may offer access to premium features, content, or functionality on a subscription basis (“Subscription Services”). These Subscription Services provide access to features and content not included in the free version of the Maskline app and are subject to the terms outlined in this section.

4. Subscription Plans and Features

We may offer multiple subscription plans (e.g., monthly, annual) with different service levels and access scopes. The specific features, pricing, and duration of each subscription plan are described within the Maskline app or on our website. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees and receive the services associated with the selected plan.

5. Billing and Payment

By subscribing to a Subscription Plan, you authorize Maskline (or our third-party payment processor) to charge your App Store account or other payment method for the subscription fees in advance at the beginning of each billing period. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law and are not pro-rated for partial periods.

6. Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Renewal charges will be billed at the then-current subscription rate. You are responsible for ensuring that your payment information is up to date to allow successful automatic renewal.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store account settings or the relevant account management interface. Cancellation will stop future renewals, but you will continue to have access to the Subscription Services through the end of the current billing period. Deleting the Maskline app or disabling auto-renewal in your app store account does not automatically cancel your subscription unless done according to the app store's cancellation process.

8. Changes to Subscription Fees

Maskline reserves the right to change subscription pricing and fees at any time. If we increase fees for any subscription you already have, we will notify you in advance and provide you the option to cancel before the new fees take effect. Continued use of the Subscription Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new fees.

9. Payment Failures

In the event of a payment failure (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds), Maskline may attempt to process the payment again. If payment cannot be successfully processed, your access to premium content may be suspended or terminated until payment is received.

10. Refunds

Unless otherwise required by law, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Any refund requests must be submitted in accordance with the refund policies of the applicable app store or payment processor.

11. Agreement to Terms

By subscribing to the Subscription Services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all terms in this Subscription section and the rest of these Terms and Conditions

12. No Professional Advice

Maskline is provided for informational and general assistance purposes only. Maskline does not provide:
  • Medical advice
  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice
  • Professional or expert opinions
You are solely responsible for how you use any information generated by Maskline.

13. AI Limitations

You acknowledge and agree that:
  • AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated
  • Maskline does not guarantee correctness or suitability
  • You use the AI output at your own risk

14. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:
  • Use Maskline for illegal or harmful activities
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute Maskline
  • Use Maskline in ways that violate laws or third-party rights

15. Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, and intellectual property related to Maskline are owned by Maskline or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

Maskline is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that Maskline will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your expectations.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maskline and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:
  • Use or inability to use Maskline
  • AI-generated content
  • Data loss
  • Device performance issues

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maskline from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

19. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Maskline at any time, without notice, if these Terms are violated.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Maskline operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

21. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Maskline constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
